Proposed Bylaws Change 03/18/2010 PDF Print E-mail
We will be voteing on the following Bylaws change on 3/18/2010.

ARTICLE 11, BARGAINING COMMITTEE
Section 1.  Up to, two (2) officers, and two (2) members from the general membership shall act as the Association bargaining committee through contract ratification.  The two members elected from the membership shall remain on the committee through contract ratification.  In years in which the current contract expires, candidates for the Bargaining Committee must be at the membership nomination meeting to be held in January with the  election to be held in March.  If deemed necessary, a special nomination and election meeting will be conducted.

Welcome to the TPOAM City of Southfield Career Employees Union.

 

The TPOAM City of Southfield Career Employees Union began in May 2004 to give City employees a voice of advocacy for changes that affect their workplace.  It took many years of effort to create this group, so your membership and participation is warmly invited.  The TPOAM Career Employees are the single largest organized group among the City’s workers.

 

Please take a moment and register on our Bulletin Board to keep up to date with the latest events. 

 

Our membership meetings take place in January, March and October and as needed. 

 

Look over the current Contract,  Bylaws and a listing of current Stewards and Officers. Please contact any Steward or Officer whenever you have questions or concerns about your role in the workplace.
